Tech for Moms

Bridging the digital divide for mothers.

Tech for Moms

Tech for Moms targets the compounding structural isolation experienced by older female demographics in Nepal. As essential services—from school portal coordination to healthcare appointment bookings—shift completely online, a widening generational gap leaves many mothers dependent on others for basic everyday tasks, isolating them within their own technical households.

Iterative Device Familiarization

The curriculum follows a highly structured, slow-paced training blueprint that starts entirely with hardware physical structures. Mothers are guided through operating system adjustments, app permissions, font scaling configurations, and voice-to-text search inputs. By focusing on practical everyday utility rather than abstract computer science terms, we remove tech anxiety and build self-sufficient workflows.

Securing Financial Autonomy

The advanced modules focus directly on running digital wallets, interpreting transaction logs, scanning local QR payment matrices, and paying utility bills independently. To ensure complete safety, our training includes immersive anti-fraud workshops where mothers learn to identify mobile phishing calls, secure one-time passwords (OTPs), and set up emergency phone locks. This unlocks true economic independence, allowing them to manage family assets safely without needing assistance.
